Although Classically trained on the harp since childhood, Hannah discovered Traditional Irish music in her teens and hasn’t looked back. As a harpist and singer she was fascinated with the . She picked up as many tunes as she could as a student at the Center for Irish Music in St. Paul, MN and learned traditional sean-nós singing from Dáithí Sproule. Traditional music has drawn Hannah to Ireland for the past three summers to study modern Irish lever harp technique and style with acclaimed harpists such as Michelle Mulcahy, Grainne Hambly, and Dearbhail Finnegan. Hannah’s musical passion is accompanying herself on the harp while singing songs in English and Irish.
Hannah enjoys sharing her love of Irish music with others at Irish festivals, farmer’s markets, and other festivals. She has been a street performer at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival since 2012 and has performed at the Irish Fair of Minnesota and the Milwaukee Irish Fest.
